Burning Plague’s self-titled 1970 debut album provided a flashpoint for Belgium’s burgeoning blues rock scene, ramping up the intensity so far at various points that it verged on heavy. It wasn’t quite enough to make the band famous, but their ballsy blues rock played through massive 100-watt Marshall stacks has made the original LP a highly-coveted collector’s item that now commands princely sums. After many shoddy bootlegs, Pseudonym Records is proud to present the first legitimate reissue, 24-bit remastered from the original tapes with the full cooperation of the band. This edition reproduces the original artwork and includes a detailed biography by Doug Sheppard of Ugly Things magazine.

Burning Plague’s titelloze debuutalbum (1970) zorgde voor een hoogtepunt in de ontluikende Belgische bluesrockscene. De intensiteit werd vaak zo opgeschroefd dat de muziek tegen de hardrock leunde. Dat bleek niet genoeg om de band beroemd te maken, maar voortgestuwd door 100-watt Marshall torens, resulteerde hun krachtige bluesrock wel in een begeerd collector's item, dat inmiddels vorstelijke bedragen oplevert. Na veel matige bootlegs is Pseudonym Records trots de eerste legitieme heruitgave van Burning Plague’s originele lp te mogen presenteren, geremastered vanaf de originele tapes, met de volledige medewerking van de band. Deze uitgave is gestoken in het oorspronkelijke artwork en bevat een gedetailleerde biografie door Doug Sheppard van Ugly Things Magazine.
