COMING SOON: LP + CD AFTER TEA – Joint House Blues
PSEUDONYM RECORDS are pleased to announce its first official reissue on 180 gram audiophile vinyl and CD release of the classic album ‘’JOINT HOUSE BLUES’’ by the legendary Dutch Progressive Blues Rock underground group AFTER TEA.
The LP will be released in a gatefold sleeve featuring the (restored) spectacular original artwork on the exterior, plus archival photos and liner notes by Mike Stax on the inside. The CD edition includes seven non-LP tracks from 1969-71, including Sunshine Eyes, Think and Sun – all from the original master tapes, of course.
After Tea was formed in 1967 when four members of the Tee-Set split from singer Peter Tetterroo to start a new band. By 1969 they devolved into a powerful underground progressive blues rock outfit featuring lead singer and bassist Polle Eduard (who was interviewed for the liner notes), guitarist Ferry Lever, Ulli Grün on the churning Hammond B3 and Ilja Gort on drums.
